  • WHAT IS LEXAN?
    LEXAN IS AN UNBREAKABLE PLASTIC MANUFACTURED BY GENERAL ELECTRIC. POLYCARBONATE IS THE GENERIC NAME FOR LEXAN.
  • HOW TO CARE FOR PLEXIGLASS?
    AMMONIA AND ALCOHOL FREE CLEANERS ARE THE BEST THINGS TO USEON PLEXIGLASS. SOLVENTS WILL CRAZE THE MATERIAL (MICRO CRACKS OVER TIME). NO SOLVENT-BASED CLEANERS. USE A SOFT COTTON TOWEL, DO NOT USE PAPER TOWELS–THEY WILL SCRATCH.
  • WHAT IS USED TO BOND ACRYLIC?
    SPECIAL GLUES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ACRYLIC AVAILABLE FROM DEKKER DESIGN. SUPER GLUE WILL NOT WORK.
  • HOW THICK CAN YOU BEND PLASTIC?
    1.0THICK. PLASTIC THICKNESS SIZES RANGE FROM 1/32 TO 4.00 THICK NORMALLY. THICKER IS AVAILABLE AS SPECIAL ORDER.
